The Lincoln Parish Sherriff’s Office responded to a disturbance call in the 100 block of Elam St. about a woman threatening to kill her father on Monday night around 9:37 p.m.
Two Haynesville men turned themselves in after a call to the Grambling Police Department revealed that they had apparently taken a child without the mother’s permission.

Grambling Fire Chief Patrick Conley has resigned from his post with the city of Grambling effective late Thursday night. City of Grambling Public Relations Director Vickie Jack-son said Conley handed in his resignation through letter to Mayor Edward Jones and the Grambling City Council.
